America Project

Group Projects

Int – Adv

This theme-based module on the United States is intended as a group project that can be completed within a two- to four-week time period along with other coursework. The driving question for this project is: What is America known for? This project includes tasks that are useful for individual, peer, and group assessment. Teachers can add or remove tasks to meet students’ needs. Additional ESL Library materials and resources are required or suggested throughout the Teachers’ Notes.

Note: Independence Day is on July 4 and makes an ideal start or finish date for this project; however, this project can also be assigned at any time throughout the year.
